Location & Directions

Getting here by car:

from the west: Vorarlberg  - Arlbergpass or Arlbergtunnel (S16) - Tyrol - Landeck - Autobahn A12 - Ötztal exit - B186 - towards Umhausen - Längenfeld. 

from the north: Bad Tölz - Achenpass - B181 - Jenbach - A12 - Innsbruck - Ötztal exit - B186  or 

Pfronten - Reutte - Fernpass - Imst - A12 - Ötztal exit -  B171 as far as Ötztal or Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Ehrwald - Lermoos - Fernpass - Imst - A12 - Ötztal exit  or

Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Mittenwald - Scharnitz - Seefeld - Telfs - A12 - Ötztal exit. 

from the east: from Munich or Salzburg down the A93 as far as Kufstein, then on to the A12 via Innsbruck as far as Ötztal, then B186.

from the south: coming from Merano / South Tyrol over the Timmelsjoch Pass into the Ötztal Valley B186. High Alpine toll road at nearly 2500m.

Open from the beginning of June until the middle/end of October.

Getting here by train/bus:

Take the train as far as Ötztal Station.
Then continue on with the bus.
